I am devoting this post to the special place that is Wal-Mart. I’m a Target girl myself, but if I haven’t showered all day in a few days or am wearing something between exercise clothes and pajamas…Wal-Mart it is. I have found great things at Wal-Mart – especially stuff for my niece and nephews. A girl I work with picked up a super cute dress that is totally “work appropriate”. The store itself seems to have gotten more clean over the years, but the parking lot has stayed the same. I haven’t been to every Wal-Mart in the country, but I have been to my fair share in my 42 years and the parking lot is always the same. The cars aren’t parked straight, there are carts in open parking places and you can’t find a spot near the door. I know! You are supposed to park far away to get hidden exercise, but you might get run over if you have to walk too far in the Wal-Mart lot. But, I digress.
The best Wal-Mart activity is people watching. Everyone knows this. If I go too long without getting to the store, I love to check out the People of Walmart site. It is truly amazing. Go there right away if you haven’t ever visited the site.
I recently came across a link with 31 Products You Won’t Believe You Can Actually Buy At Walmart. Not only is it comedic gold, but I have found more things to add to my sister can take to her next White Elephant party.
While I’m talking about Wal-Mart…did you know they have a special cheer? I learned this from my friend Jenny years ago…I’m sorry you can’t see her do it, but these guys do a nice job with it.
